Atiku Deserves 2027 Electoral Victory \u2014 ADC-PCC<\/p>\n

The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council (ADC-PCC) has described its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as a true Pan-Nigerian leader and detribalised statesman who deserves victory in the Jan. 16, 2027 presidential election.<\/p>\n
The Director of Media and Publicity of the ADC-PCC, Kola Ologbondiyan, stated this in Abuja at the weekend while hosting the leadership of the Grassroots Mobilisation Network (GMN), led by its National Coordinator, Sadiq Lwafu.<\/p>\n
Speaking during the visit to the campaign council office, Lwafu announced that the group had commenced a nationwide mobilization campaign to rally support for Atiku\u2019s presidential bid and ensure the defeat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming polls.<\/p>\n
Lwafu criticized the President Bola Tinubu-led administration, alleging that its policies had subjected citizens to economic hardship, heightened insecurity, and an increasingly authoritarian political atmosphere.<\/p>\n
\u201cPresident Tinubu\u2019s administration has made life so difficult for Nigerians. The hardship is too much. Nigerians are now living in fear of insecurity.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt appears that governance has collapsed, as a group of greedy politicians have ganged up against the poor, and democracy has been abused and replaced with an authoritarian regime,\u201d Lwafu said.<\/p>\n
He further warned that Nigeria was drifting toward the path where democratic institutions are weakened and power is centralised.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe only man who can rescue Nigeria is Abubakar, and we are on a mission to ensure that the APC is thrown out of power through the ballot box next year,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Lwafu described the ADC as a credible platform that unites experienced, patriotic leaders committed to national development.<\/p>\n
\u201cADC is the only platform with great minds and patriotic leaders. Look at our National Chairman, David Mark; Atiku; Rotimi Amaechi; Tunde Ogbeha; Rauf Aregbesola; Kashim Imam; Sen. Austin Akobundu; Sen. Aminu Tambuwal; Emeka Ihedioha; Ralph Nwosu; Dele Momodu; Dino Melaye and others.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese are not jokers like what we have in the APC. Look at the characters in the APC and compare: propagandists, deceitful, pretenders and certificate forgers,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Responding, Ologbondiyan praised the GMN leadership for its commitment to grassroots mobilization and national development, noting that the contrast between Atiku and Tinubu was clear in their respective approaches to governance and political inclusion.<\/p>\n
He accused the Tinubu administration of clannishness in appointments, policy formulation, and political posture over the last three years.<\/p>\n
\u201cAtiku, on the other hand, is a natural Nigerian devoid of ethnic, religious or sectional inclination. He is a leader for all tribes and regions,\u201d Ologbondiyan said.<\/p>\n
He added that Atiku\u2019s family, business, and political relationships reflected the diversity of the nation.<\/p>\n
\u201cCheck the people around him over the years. Take a close look at his immediate family, his businesses and his political associates. Atiku represents Nigeria and Nigeria is in him.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is married across the Niger, his children represent our diversity, and his associates cut across every tribe and religion. That is the definition of a Pan-Nigerian leader,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n
The ADC-PCC spokesperson accused the ruling party of exploiting national fault lines for political gain while ignoring the welfare and unity of the people.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe APC has so much capitalised on our fault lines to divide the country. They don\u2019t care about the welfare of the people as far as they can remain in power.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are not concerned about our unity but about winning elections against the peace and harmony of the nation.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo government in the history of our country has ever used divisive means to hold on to power more than the APC. But Nigerians are wiser now and ready to kick them out through the ballot,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ologbondiyan said that the ruling party\u2019s sectional approach had failed to deliver tangible development or better living conditions for citizens.<\/p>\n
He noted that Atiku\u2019s policy proposals, economic blueprint, and leadership experience made him the most suitable candidate to tackle Nigeria\u2019s current economic and security challenges.<\/p>\n
On energy policy, Ologbondiyan stated that an Atiku administration would restore the fuel subsidy under a transparent, well-managed framework to protect vulnerable citizens and stimulate domestic production.<\/p>\n
\u201cAtiku is going to bring back subsidy in a transparent and well-managed manner that will directly benefit the poor and stimulate production.<\/p>\n
\u201cOther candidates do not have solutions to the challenges confronting us. Ask other candidates about fuel subsidy and they will not give you a straight answer;<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will be full of reprobate, back and forth and incoherent policy somersaults. Atiku is clear, consistent and prepared,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ologbondiyan reassured the GMN that the ADC Campaign Council remained committed to working alongside patriotic organisations to end APC rule, restore confidence in governance, and rebuild the nation.<\/p>\n
