The Presidential Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Gov. Seyi Makinde, has appointed former Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council, Mr Amos Dunia as his Special Adviser, Public Affairs.<\/p>\n

According to Mr Richard Ihediwa, the Director of Strategic Communications, Makinde\/Daura Presidential Campaign Organization (MDPCO), the appointment of Dunia takes immediate effect.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Dunia has combined broadcast and print journalism background, having worked with the Nigerian Television Authority, the New Nigerian Newspapers, the Sun Newspapers, Blueprint Newspapers and Co-founder of Forefront Magazine and online portal.<\/p>\n
He later became National Consultant of the NUJ on Politics and Union matters.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Dunia is expected to bring his experience, capacity, skills and connections as a seasoned journalist, public commentator, communication expert and publisher to the MDPCO.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
As a spokesperson, Mr. Dunia joins other professionals in the campaign in driving the Makinde\/Daura Reset Nigeria message towards ensuring the victory of the APM in the 2027 Presidential election.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The statement quoted Makinde charging all members of the presidential campaign, leaders, members, supporters of the APM and all Nigerians to remain steadfast in the collective quest to use the 2027 Presidential election to reset and put our nation back on the path of stability, national cohesion and economic prosperity.<\/p>\n
